Mufti Ubaid ur Rahman

Mufti Ubaid ur Rahman, son of Al-Hajj Gul Zada from Karachi, Pakistan. He completed Dars-e-Nizami from Jamia Uloom al-Islamiyyah, Karachi in 1993, where he also memorised the Holy Qur’an in 1995. He pursued advanced Tajweed al-Qur’an at Dar al-Qur’an Muhammadi, Peshawar. He later specialised in Takhassus fi al-Fiqh wal Ifta at Jamia Uloom al-Islamiyyah, Karachi, under the guidance of the Mufti scholar Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Ludhyanwi (رحمه الله), completing the program in 1997. His academic qualifications were granted equivalence to a Bachelor’s degree by the University of Peshawar.

Mufti Ubaid ur Rahman has been actively engaged in teaching since 1997. From 1997 to 2005, he taught at Jamia Ihya’ ul Uloom, Karachi, followed by his tenure at Darul Ulum Victoria Australia from 2006 to 2019. Since 2020, he continues to serve as a teacher at Madrassa Ibn Abbas Karachi And Darul Ulum Victoria imparting knowledge in Fiqh and Hadith.

Mufti Faizal Riza

Mufti Faizal Riza is a seasoned Islamic sciences educator with over 24 years of teaching experience. He has instructed a wide range of traditional Islamic disciplines, including Arabic sciences (Grammar, Ta’beer, Adab), Qur’anic sciences (Translation and Tafseer), Hadith sciences (Hadith and Usul al-Hadith), and Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh).

His primary speciality lies in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), through which he has guided countless individuals across all aspects of life, including creed and worship, business and finance, marriage and divorce, and matters of inheritance and bequest. He has also taught takhassus fil fiqh wa al-iftaa (specialisation in Islamic Jurisprudence and issuing fatwas), in which postgraduate scholars are vigorously trained on Islamic Jurisprudence, enabling them to guide the broader community in all areas of life.

After completing high school in Australia, Mufti Faizal pursued Islamic sciences in the Indian subcontinent at prestigious seminaries such as Nadwatul Ulama (Lucknow), Darul Uloom Deoband (Deoband), and Jamia Binoria (Karachi). He later specialised in Islamic Jurisprudence and issuing fatwas in South Africa under the guidance of the renowned jurists Mufti Ebrahim Desai (رحمه الله) and Mufti Husain Kadodia (حفظه الله) at Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyaa (Durban).


Mufti Qazi Muhammad Anas

Qazi Muhammad Anas is a Melbourne-based Islamic studies educator and jurist-researcher (Mufti). He completed Shahādat al-‘Ālamiyyah and a specialization (Takhassus fī al-Fiqh al-Islāmī, PhD-equivalent) at Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, where he acquired advanced knowledge directly under Shaykh al-Islām Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani—one of today’s foremost Islamic jurists. He also trained in Islamic Banking and Finance aligned with AAOIFI standards.

Since 2012, Qazi Anas has taught at Darul Ulum College of Victoria (Islamic Studies, Arabic, Qur’an, Jurisprudence, Hadith, Tafsir, Humanities) and coordinated the Islamic Studies Department from 2013–2020. He previously taught at Al-Siraat College (2012). Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Charles Sturt University), a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Charles Darwin University), and is currently completing a Master of Islamic Studies (Charles Sturt University). He memorized the Qur’an early in his studies and followed the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum in Melbourne.

His work combines traditional scholarship with contemporary pedagogy, community service, and ethical finance awareness—serving students and the wider community with clarity and care.


Mufti Muhammad Abdur Rehman

Mufti Muhammad Abdur Rehman graduated from the ʿĀlimiyyah program at Darul Ulum Victoria in 2017. He then completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University.

In 2018, Mufti Muhammad travelled to Karachi, Pakistan, to pursue further studies and enrolled in the Takhassus fī ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth (Specialisation in Hadith Studies) program at Jāmiʿat al-ʿUlūm al-Islāmiyyah, Allāmah Binnori Town, where he completed a two-year program and wrote his thesis in Arabic on Jarḥ wa Taʿdīl (the science of criticism and accreditation of narrators).

Following this, he joined the 2 years Iftāʾ program at the same institution, which he completed in 2022.

Mufti Muhammad was privileged to study under and benefit from several renowned scholars, including Sheikh Abdul Halim al-Chishti an-Nuʿmāni, Sheikh Anwar Badakhshani, Mufti Abdul Rawuf al-Ghaznawi, and Mufti Inʿām al-Ḥaqq al-Qasimi, among others.

He has been teaching at local maktabs since 2016 and is currently serving as an Islamic Studies teacher at Darul Ulum College of Victoria.
